Accomplishments
Through excellence, PCC (Princess) Bridget A. Tychus has chipped-away at barriers holding women back,
and continuously “breaks the glass ceiling” through overall efficiency and high-level performance.

In 2023, PCC (Princess) Bridget A. Tychus received international recognition as an Ambassador of Peace, serving the World Peace Organization, Nigeria. In this role, she serves as a Special Adviser on peace to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Raised resources and led efforts to build the Cancer Screening and Treatment Centre (“the Centre”) within the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. The Centre was then handed over to the Lagos State Government in 2007. It is noteworthy to mention that it is the only cancer screening and treatment center serving Lagos State and surrounding provinces. This herculean effort was accomplished through collaboration with senior government officials, corporate organizations, and grants from Lions Charity International Foundation (LCIF). The project was aimed at improving the quality of life of Nigerians, by providing world-class care for all types of cancer.

Awarded over $18,000 merit scholarships to students, boosting primary and secondary school enrollment in Nigeria, and ensuring award recipients acquired the basic skills necessary for success later in life.

A prominent leader who holds a seat on corporate and not-for-profit Boards runs major peace initiatives within Nigeria’s World Peace Organization (WPO) – under its Diplomatic Mission Peace & Prosperity (DMPP) program and leads several strategic initiatives for the Lions Clubs International (LCI) including hosting the 2004 ‘Africa Conference’ in Lagos-Nigeria, to coach future leaders and deliver more humanitarian service projects in Africa.
